Page Option Buttons

Page Options.
Diese finden sich am Ende einer jeden Seite und sind in der Sprache, die beim Erstellen der Site ausgesucht wurde(derzeit English oder Polish).
Das generelle Set beinhaltet: edit | tags | history | files | print | site tools |+ options
- edit
- Eröffnet das standard "Edit " Fenster. Benutzen Sie diesen Button um ihre angezeigte Seite zu ändern. Bitte beachten Sie, daß bei allen Eingaben jeder Art es wichtig ist Blanks immer an der richtigen Stelle einzufügen. Ansonsten wird die Seite nicht wie gewünscht angezeigt. Eine Eingabe von "CTRL + e" ( gemeinsam gedrückt) anstelle dieses Buttons bewirkt daselbe.
- tags
- Benutzen Sie diesen Button um Schlüsselwörter (tags) dieser Seite einzugeben. Das sind Wörter, die sich auf den Inhalt der gezeigten Seite beziehen. Diese müssen nicht im Text selber vorkommen. Achtung: derzeit besteht noch eine Längenbeschränkung von rund 52 Stellen, sowie die Einschränkung, daß jedes "Tag" aus "einem" Wort bestehen muss! Bindestrich ist aber möglich für Doppelnamen.
- history
- Hier können Sie die Änderungen dieser Seite verfolgen. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Optionen und Aktionen um Änderungen dieser Seite zu verfolgen.
- files
- Wenn Sie auf diesen Button klicklen öffnet sich ein kleines Zusatz-menü mit mehr Buttons: (upload new file | file manager). Diese geben Ihnen die Möglichkeit "Files" (pictures, .doc, .xls, .pdf , .txt, zip) auf diese Seite up/down zu loaden (auch "attaching" genannt) bzw. Anzusehen und zu kontrollieren. Der File manager gibt derzeit Auskunft wieviel Speicher Sie mit allen Files schon belegen.
- Eröffnet ein zusätzliches "Print" Fenster mit einigen schönen Zusatz-Features. Damit läßt sich schön eine ganze Seite drucken ohne dem Side-Bar menü oder anderen Navigation features um die Seite herum. Merke: das Layout sieht gleich wie die InternetSeite aus. Probieren Sie es doch einmal aus:

- wanted Pages:
Erzeugt eine Liste der Namen von Seiten , die NOCH NICHT erzeugt wurden, aber schon anderswo mittels Wikidot-Link (z.B.: [[[offenerLink]]] "vorgeschlagen" wurde.
- orphaned pages
Dis ist eine Liste von Seiten, die keinerlei Links auf sich besitzen oder woanders hinweisen. Es wird immer solche geben wie Category, Forum threads, New Forum Thread, ect.

Dies öffnet (flip/flop: "+options" wird zu "-options") eine neue Liste von Buttons:

- edit sections.
- Clicking on this will provide you with a "edit" button next to each seperate heading in your page. Clicking a particular "edit" button will open that part of the page only. Very handy for editing long documents.
- append.
- This gives you an empty edit box. Any text that is entered here will go right at the very bottom of the page. Note: if you have used a module "comments module", for example, the the appended text will go BELOW that module.
- backlinks
- Will give you a list of pages that links that link to that page. It will also give you a list of pages that directly include this page. (!!! need to add more on this!!!)
- view source
- Will give you all the text and coding used for that page in such a way that it can be copied and pasted elsewhere. For larger pages it can help in locating errors in the text and code because you get it displayed at the same time as you view it (unlike the edit window).
- parent
- Use this to help in page navigation. You might find it a good idea to put at least Home page name in here This is VERY handy if you wish to use "bread crumbs" navigation. Put [[module PageTree]] in your "home" page somewhere and all will be revealed. More info Here
- block
- Will give you a tick box. Tick this if you want only admins and Mods to be able to edit this page. This is sometimes useful e.g. for the starting page. This is over and above the permissions set in "site manager"
- rename
- Warning! This will change the actual address of the page. If you change it any pages that have links to and from it will not work. Fortunately there is another button Show dependences that warns you if this is the case. Alternatively, just change the displayed Title of the Page in the Title of page box above the edit dialog box without change the page address.
- delete
- You can delete the page by either moving it to a default "deleted" category (the page name will be changed to "deleted:page_name") or by permanently removing it from the Wiki, which is nonrecoverable and should be used with caution.
