Hi to All!

Achille started the discussion and preparation of the Site manager for the Handbook.

I inserted only one link in the Site for beginners section for it and created a new Site-manager page.

I am not sure if this is enough.

Achille made some screenshot for the translations of some "deeper" menu points of the Site manager.

But my question is : how deep should we go on this page ? Will it get too large with too many Images?

Should we start an extra section- page (the 10.) for the Site manager alone?
or only a link list to the different items on the different levels ?

And what to do with "not yet" written missing issues from this Site manager?

in the different languages - how Achille did it. - sometimes with screenshots.

What is your oppinion?

Hi Helmut,
I agree with you, that the site manager menu could became too much deep and we have to do a lot of screen shots.
I suggest to stop the menu at first level, that is the site manager menu itself. So I am considering to delete the Italian page:
http://handbook.wikidot.com/it:welcome-to-site-manager that is in depper level.
On the contrary I wouldn't delete the general page http://handbook.wikidot.com/en:welcome-to-site-manager,with a very … very short desciption of each screnshoot (only 2 or 3 lines).

Tomorrow, open my school :(.

Today I have relaized with great pleasure we have so far a lot of memory space on the handbook. :)

I'm wondering to know if can I create a new wikidot installation setting Italian language for control.

Can you help me?

I hope so because wikidot look like a very good software.

For the "admin:manage"-"module ( = site manager pages) not yet in wikidot rel 1.

For the others you can switch to your own "stand alone" buttons in italian for the most opage option buttons..

Have a look on the link list of italian sites on the italían welcome page start how they have done this…

There are a lot of "foreign" languages sites in the world.

Only the "controls" ( as you said) are now in english or polish …. but jhopefuööy thios will change in the near future with wikidot .rel 2.
