Sinavalarında başarılar dilerim, ben Turkiyeye tatile gidiyorum, bir ay black-out olacak dönüşümde tekrar iletişim kurarım. Yazdığınız metinleri gördüm, çok iyi olmuş, benim hatalı yazılarımı düzeltmekten kaçınmayın.

Türkler birlikte çalışmayı çok başarabilen insanlar değil sanıyorum wiki mantığına çok yatkın olmamaları bu yüzden. Ama az da olsa bir kaç kişi olacaktır. Sanıyorum pek wikiye veya en azından ücretsiz wikiye ihtiyaçları yok. Bu sebeple burada olmayabilirler. Bir noktada gelebileceklerini umuyorum ama. Geldiklerinde de etrafta bakabilecekleri bir kaç döküman bulmaları iyi olur elbette ki.
En azından ben çevremdekileri wiki mantığına ve wikidot'a yönlendirmeye çalışıyorum. Yavaş yavaş geleceklerdir. Sorun handbook'u bulamamış olmaları da olabilir. Zira ben de epey bir süre kurcaladıktan sonra böyle bir şeyden haberdar oldum.
Evet bu arada o Wiki 2.0 hadisesini ben de ip ile çekmekteyim. Ben kullanıcılara tam Türkçe arayüz vermeyi seviyorum. Ning'den aldığım bir hesapta da bu sebeple tüm dil dosyalarını Türkçe'ye çevirmeye uğraşıyorum (zahmetli bir iş). Burada da benzer bir şey yapabilmeyi isterdim.
Sancak'ta iş çok, orası kesin. Orası da yavaş yavaş olacak umuyorum.
Şu sıralar sınav dönemim olduğu için çok bir yardımım olamayabilir handbook'ta ama boş vakit buldukça ve finallerimden sonra bir şeyler çevirmeye çalışacağım.

Değistirmek, istediğiniz uyarı vs. metinlerini şu an Türkçeye (veya herhangi başka bir dile) çevirme olasılığı yok, ben de onlardan başlamak istedim ama nafile. Şimdilik sadece ingilizce ve Polonezce sabit iki dil var? Wiki yazılımını geliştiren ekip bunun Wiki 2.0 da mümkün olacağını söyluyor. Beklemkten başka elimizden gelen bir şey yok.

Güzel bir işe girişmişsiniz. Tebrik eder ve kolaylıklar dilerim.
Ben de elimden geldiğince düzenlemeye ve katkı yapmaya çalışacağım (ki bir iki kelam düzenledim).
Bir de bu metinlerden ziyade Wiki içi metinler (uyarılar, çeşitli başlıklar, vesayire) Türkçeleştirilebilse çok güzel olurdu diye düşünüyorum.
Elbette bir yerden başlamak gerek. Ben oradan başlamayı tercih ederdim ama pek mümkün olmayabiliyor maalesef.

Bonjour Gerdami,
Pourrais-tu jeter un œil sur la page du glossaire français stp, je la trouve un peu bizarre, il y un lien nommé Gaeilge qui, je pense, n’a rien à faire là.
Je n’ose pas la nettoyer, ne sachant si c’est le haut (franchement pas génial) ou le bas qui est à virer.

- in tables ( new format), divs , and span…
I had seen your startof this issue on the recent changes…

Hello Helmut & Gerdami and…,
I was translating the introduction to divs which is supposed to be an “advances” subject. It seems very “light” to me, I add some details on inline arguments to justify the “advanced” option. You can see it here.
Inline styling appears in some tags used by WikiDOT (divs, tables, span, images etc.) I think that it would be nice to have an “Inline CSS” or “Inline Style” page to describe the most common inline arguments and relevant structure. CSS2 is quiet cumbersome to a new comer. Sending them to the 3W pages is not necessary and won’t solve their problem; the target of the page would only be to give some details on CSS elements commonly used in wikidot.
Although there is a page project named “CSS – Themes” I suppose that it will be more “theme oriented” and contain too many elements. A separate “Inline Style” would be easier to understand. The pages dedicated to elements using inline styles divs, tables, span, images etc.) could link this page.
I’d be glad to have your opinion about that. If you agree, I can create the French page but my English is not good enough for the En: version.

.) I take always is a look on the "internals" / r"ecent changes" when I come back to the handbook…
There is a lot of changes, but not so much in english…
.) The problem we had in German ( or Italian,..) too. I took some copies of the pages and tried to explain them explicit from english text to (parallel) german as often as possible. I think as you not all people are good enough in english to understand the standards comments of wikidot's primary language..
I have not yet any better idea. Italian was made very good I think. But I learn now italian language for 6 months and I am not yet good enough to understand all…

Yes and No, the user can discover "Hoho, the side bar is language dependant… How did they do that ? Hoho, the name of the side bar I can see at the bottom is not the one I used to see on other wikidot sites."
Wikidot users are not that idiots, I think.
- This remark was written when the sidebar’s page name was not appearing on the bar itself. If you comment it now that the name is written, it doesn’t have any sense.
- The name is better at the bottom.

- I wonder how we can bu& Helmutild a system to easily retrieve the new adds to any language (mainly English) in order to update the same information in the other languages, I read some post on this subject but nothing very satisfactory.
- Another problem is that I always took the English version as basis but often pure translation is not possible because the Wiki environment is in English, This is of great help for English pages that can shortcut some explanations but if you suppose a foreign user, you also have to help him understand the environment and sometimes this leads to a quiet different page. Is this acceptable?
